Anyone with eyes can see that the United States of America has gotten off track. As individuals and as a nation, we have not adhered to the values of our founders or the commandments of God, and if we do not change our ways, we will pay for it, just as the biblical nation of Israel paid for not obeying God. I believe the solution to the problem is two-fold: First, individual Americans need to get right with God, become born again, and grow in spiritual maturity. Second, as we do this as individuals, we need to become more involved in our country’s politics. We need to educate ourselves about the lives and values of those running for office so that our votes truly count, and we need to pray for our leaders and our nation. Both individual Americans and the United States of America as a nation are on a path toward destruction, but I believe this can be turned around.
